Highlight is a .NET component that performs fuzzy searching over string based datasets. Your users can mis-spell queries and Highlight will find what they really wanted. A quick, efficient, fuzzy search experience means your users get to the data they care about quicker, with less mistakes.

Licensing

There are two versions of Highlight: Express and Enterprise. The Enterprise version is currently in private Beta and not available for download. Express is available for purchase right now:

The Non-Commercial version of Highlight Express is not limited in any way - it's free for use in all Non-Commercial settings, including Non-Commercial websites.

Highlight Express is fully tested and performs well with up to 10,000 rows (collection elements) of data. It's currently unlimited in the amount of rows it can search, but performance mileage may vary above 10,000.

Demo: ASP.NET

This demo shows Highlight Express incrementally searching over names in the Adventure Works database (10,000 name records). The demo is included in the distribution.
